MATT HEWITT

Matt originally studied drama and music at Leeds University and after graduating he was cast as Jake Blues in the West End production The Official Tribute To The Blues Brothers at the Whitehall Theatre, London, and went on to tour the production extensively throughout the UK and Europe. Matt has also performed in the touring productions of The Rocky Horry Show, Cabaret and Footlose.
Matt joined the production on March 2009 and has certainly stamped his mark on the show.

MICHAEL HYDE

Having graduated from the Plume School & Performing Arts Academy, Michael performed in countless theatrical productions from Grease to West Side Story. He was recruited by production in 2006 as the understudy for the role of Elwood. Michael made the role his own when he took over the frontline in September 2007.

 

PETE TOBIT

Pete brings over 30 years experience to the production, having toured extensively with artistes such as Van Morrison & The Commitments and with his own productions of REACH OUT! & SWEET HOME CHICAGO. Pete started with the production 13 years ago as Elwood Blues and currently produces the show as well as giving his hilarious performances as Rev. I. C. Delight & Fab Calloway.

 

TRACY GRAHAM
BACKING VOCALS

Following touring with Moody Blues for 8 yrs and singing with the likes of Eric Clapton and Paul Young, Tracy is a great asset to the production with her class and talent.
 

RICHARD PARDY
SAXOPHONE


World tours with Westlife and Vanessa Mae, as well as tours with Amy Winehouse and Marty Wilde, have made Richard an invaluable addition to the show
 

LEIGH HEGGARTY
GUITAR

Widely regarded as the long-lost son of Steve 'The Colonel' Cropper, Leigh's incomparable guitar style and years with The Commitments, will leave you in no doubt that he is the Soul Man!
 

DAVE LAND
TRUMPET / FLUGEL HORN

Having first come across Dave in the Middle East whilst touring with the legendary Four Tops, his impeccable theatrical background - 16 yrs with Starlight Express - is invaluable to the show.
 

JOHN SORRELL
BASS / BVs

The longest-serving member of the show and with a wealth of experience gained whilst with Stiff Records, John definitely personifies the backbone of the production.
 

IAN GIBBONS
KEYBOARDS


14 years with The Kinks and then touring with Ray Davies, Ian Hunter and Roger Chapman have honed Ian's playing into a talent that is sought after throughout the world. Ian has been with the production for the last 10 years and hopefully quite a few more to come.

MARC CECIL
DRUMS / PERCUSSION

Having graduated from Middx University in percussion, Marc went on to tour with a number of productions and is a greatly sought after West End show musician. His obvious talents provide the foundation of this show.
